Sage & Aera is an indie folk duo combining the songs and instrumental prowess of Sage Cook with the uniquely pure voice and upright bass of Aera Fox. The duo who co-founded transcendental folk-pop band we dream dawn in 2014 has decided to lay their hearts bare in a purely acoustic format.

They left Colorado in 2013 to embark on a subsistence farming adventure, in hopes that deepening their connection to the land would also lead them to greater self-realization. Emerging from this self-imposed isolation is purposeful pure creativity; organically rooted and cosmically inspired folk music for the modern era.
